When creating image to DVD (Build 859) I get a error message disk is full approxiamately 30% thru the process. The disk does have over 4GB of data. Why do I not get the opportunity to remove the first dvd and insert a second to continue the process?
    Thanks - Pinto

    Hello Pinto,

Are you imaging direct to DVD+R or DVD+/-RW?

What UDF packet writing software do you use?

Did you preformat the DVD using the packet writing software?

Are you running your packet writing software in the background whilst imaging to DVD?

    Regards

I am using Roxio Record Now Deluxe. I have preformated the DVD +R. I did not run the Roxio software concurrently.

    Thanks Pinto

I'm not familiar with Roxio software but if Record Now Delux provides a drag-to-disk recording capability (i.e. UDF packet writing) then it needs to be running in the background whilst TI images direct to DVD. If it doesn't provide such capability then you probably need to use Roxio's DirectCD, Drag-to-Disk or equivalent to preformat your DVD+R and have it running in the background.

    Regards

    Hello PINTO,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please also follow the next link to get more information about writing on DVD: http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/faq.html#20.

Please note that a possible workaround is to create image archives on local or network hard drives specifying the image archive split size and burn them to DVDs later.

Please let us know if the problem remains.

    Thank you.
