I use a portable 2.5" USB drive as a shared drive on my home network. After installation of True Image 8.0, True Image worked fine, but it disabled network access to my shared drive even though the drive remained listed as a shared drive on its host computer and could be normally accessed from the host computer. The internal HD on the host computer was still shared on the network.

Uninstalling True Image allowed full normal network access to the USB drive again.

Is this a known problem? Is there a way to leave True Image installed on the computer and still share a network drive on the USB port?
