Problem installing Acronis True Image 8.0 for Linux on Debian machines: Following the HOWTO.INSTALL by the line, I installed True Image with the result "installed successfully", no errors were reported, not even in log files.
But "trueimagecmd --list" leads to the error "Cannot find the necessary program modules. Please reinstall the program.", and "modprobe snapapi" produces errors, too.

I tried to install True Image on two Debian machines:
-server1 with Kernel 2.4.18-k7 (Debian stable 3.0 Woody, standard kernel)
-server2 with Kernel 2.4.27-1-386 (Debian testing 3.1 Sarge, standard kernel)

Both machines produce the same errors. With SuSE, I encountered no problems at all. Is there anyone who has True Image running on a Debian system?

    Thank you
