True Image 9.1 Workstation and Windows XP Embedded

I am trying to use TI 9.1 Workstation on a Windows XP Embedded system. The XP Embedded is service pack 2 with Feature Pack 2007.

I am finding that TI cannot see a USB2 CD/DVD Writer as a valid device for the Acronis archive. However, if I install Windows XP Pro SP2 on the same system, then install TI 9.1 Workstaion, it works as expected.

Has anyone else tried this with XP Embedded? I believe I have included all the necessary components in the XP Embedded image to allow USB CD/DVD usage, and Windows itself is quite happy with the device.

I wondered if TI may check the name of the OS, and is not written to cope with "Windows XP Embedded". Any help would be appreciated.
