I have a Dell Laptop at home running XP Professional SP 2. Will True Image 10 Home run in this environment? If not, what product do you recommend. I was going to buy Norton Ghost 10, but I'm holding off until I hear back. :)

    thanks.

I would suggest you download the trial version and see if it works for you. Install it and create a rescue cd. Run the program in windows AND boot from the rescue cd and make sure it can see all your hard drives from both environments.

The rescue cd uses either a "safe" dos based mode or a "full" lunix based mode. This is why it's important to try these and make sure your hardware is supported.

I have used TI 9 & 10 with XP Professional SP2 and also TI 10 with Vista and they have worked well. But every computer is different.

Also check out how helpful the Norton Ghost user forum is because you might find the Symantec tech support like trying to draw water from an empty well.
