My ISP increased my Bandwidth to 110 Mbps Download/11 Mbps Upload a few days ago. I get the full upload speed, but several speed tests show the speed struggling between ~50 Mbps and just under 60 Mbps. My Firewall Router has a stated speed limitation of 175 Mbps with SPI enabled. All hardware (switches and NIC's are Gigabit Ethernet). My Cable Modem has a speed limitation of several hundred Mbps. I replaced the CAT5 cables with CAT6 cables between one PC all of the way to the cable modem (No noticeable download speed change). Questions: 1. I have Norton DNS configured on my Firewall Router. Will this have an impact on the speed test? 2. What are some other things to check for in the Troubleshooting process? Thanks in Advance.
