Trouble with adding to the black list

    I'm running Release 6 of Outlook Express and ESS 6 on a 30-day trial. Frequently, I hit the "Spam Address" for incoming mail that I know to be junk. Often, however, I get back a message that that the address wasn't added because it was already in my blacklist.

    So, why am I seeing these e-mails in my inbox? Should they not have been relegated to the Spam folder if the address is in the blacklist?

    Or am I misunderstanding something here?
