hey gents, i've got a 3 tb drive fully encrypted - im finding that when i dismount the drive to restart the computer, sometimes the next time i mount it, truecrypt warns that the drive was not properly dismounted the last time and offers to scan the drive and repair errors. it often finds and recovers orphaned files, sometimes a few, sometimes many. however when i had dismounted the drive, it didn't give the warning "this drive is presently in use" so i thought it safe to go ahead and dismount. this doesnt occur everytime, but it sometimes does - it makes me uneasy to say the least.

anyone have any thoughts or tips? thank you
