Trouble installing SpywareBlaster

I have a machine that has been hi-jacked and is full of mybar and power bar programs, I have tried to delete everything I can find and then install spyware blaster and it seems that it gives me this message, missing MSVBVM60.dll file, I found that file and installed it in C:/Windows. Now when I try to run the Spyware blaster program I get this message, missing MSCOMCTLOCK.OCX or the file is corrupted.

I am thinking there is something in this machine at is preventing Spyware Blaster to function.

How can I get the programs off my machine to clean it up. I am running Windows 98.
