Trojan Horse Proxy.12.BM

Everytime I open Internet Explorer, I receive a runtime error message which shuts down my browser, and then AVG detects a virus called Trojan horse Proxy.12.BM, but it can or wont do anything about it. I have downloaded 18 different anti virus/trojan/adware programs, and nothing seems to help. I have run each of them in safe mode with windows recovery turned off. Some detect it, and few accually delete it or quarantine it, but then it just comes back.

I couldnt get rid of it, so i just reformated the hard drive. At least its gone now.
