Thanks. Just noticed that. I always thought it was just the virus database that got updated but obviously not. Doesn't even ask for a reboot either!

License expiration date is definitely showing 30/11/07 for me. Sorry - don't know how to take and attach screenshots.

I'm pretty sure the date order/format comment was just a joke, so, let's not get into any debates on that.

In any case, in response to the concerns posted here that the release candidate would expire before the final product was officially available for download and purchase, ESET has extended the testing license through the end of November.

Lighten up, I meant order as a joke. Actually, 20071130 is a much better order and consistant with their other dating; screw regionalization.....

    Hi guys,
the expiration date has been shifted till the end of November so that you have enough time to finish the beta testing and prepare for the transition to the final release. As soon as the final version is ready, you will be able to install either an evaluation or full version if you are a registered user.

As for the expiration date, do you use the username/password for beta or your own? If the latter, then the expiration date will not be displayed yet, but we we plan to add this functionality for all licenses shortly.

I didn't say that ;) I told that it was done that way so that you have enough time to make the transition to the final full or evaluation version and that we don't want to cut you off immediately after the release of v3.

I would also like to know the modules version numbers. Anyone has a screenshot? I'm not sure if I was updated either.

Not sure how to do screenshots(!) but here's my module versions:-

    Update 1019 (30/11/07)
    Antivirus & Antispyware scanner 1099 (31/10)
    Advanced Heuristics 1066 (17/9)
    Archive Support 1064 (28/9)
    Cleaner 1019 (15/8 )
    Personal Firewall 1030 (29/10)
    Antispam 1004 (4/10)

Not sure why there's a smiley next to cleaner date! Should be 15/8. Fixed - Ron

    Hope this helps.

That's weird. Could you try reinstalling ESS/EAV to see if it makes a difference?
