    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if the trial version of NOD32 2.5 has all the features that the full version has?

I have been testing the trial and love it.

    Thanks for your input!

Yes, the only flaw is that it works only for 30 days ;)

Additionally it does NOT download incremental updates, the trial version downloads the enitre database for each update. The paid version only needs incremental updates.

I think Marcos said that the incremental updates was removed... or perhaps I'm confusing that with something else...

What's the diff? Slower dowload times?

Longer download time, download speed is your connection. But that may have been changed, wait for an Eset MOD to come along and verify whether it does use the incremental or full updates.

The only difference is that the trial version cannot be updated after the 30-day trial period. The trial version is actually fully functional and downloads incremental updates.

The revelation that the trial had changed to now do incremental updates was a one-liner that Marcos posted in response to another thread on the trial versions - it was such a small post that no-one really picked up on it I don't think... and that's why I wasn't even 100% sure I hadn't imagined it! oh.. and I couldn't find it searching... there are lots of posts containing the words "trial" and "nod32" ... ;)
