I wish Trend would make their mind up on what they want to charge. I had been offered £49 for a renewal-upgrade to 08, I now see it is £45 to buy and now Trend want to charge me £40.:doubt:

But I haver made a decison and Trend won't be having my money.

For purchases made from Trend Micro Authorized resellers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico only. All rebates submitted from the US and Puerto Rico are paid in US funds and Canadian submissions are paid in Canadian funds. Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

No good on this side of the pond!

I am being offered 45 dollars to renew my subscription to Trend Micro which is not a very good deal at all I think. I can buy the 2008 version from amazon for less than this.

Thanks BigC for the link. I see they have the McAfee Internet Suite 2008 for 12.95. Can't beat that with a stick :D

A few weeks ago they (trend) sent me an email saying that my protection had expired in April 07, and I could renew now for the low low price of AUS$120 :p
    Needless to say, I declined.

Ouch! I just did a conversion, 120AUD = 105.98USD. Too rich for my blood too, lol.

That's the type of shady behavior that leads me away from a vendor. Then there's the "automatic renewal" features of Symantec - Again, while not illegal by any means, its a practice I don't appreciate personally.
