Is this light weight? I noticed the installer is rather large, but that could be since it is beta code.

I don't notice it running on my computer like most AV's. Three things I would like to see...

    1. Context menu scanner
    2. Custom folder scan selection
    3. Have the AV ask me what I want to do with possible threats, rather than auto quarantine.

Hmmm... Ran a fill scan and their detection logging could use some work.

Agree - Some people like's a more classic look, but to me this one is aswome (I think TrendMicro have always been good at creating nice shiny gui's) :thumb:

So let me get this straight. This AV is detecting its own home page as a web threat? That sure tells me something.

...that you'll probably never use it? :D

Btw, very nice UI. Congrats to TM.

Yes, with the web protection set to High. I emailed them about it.

I think it is normal behaviour when settings on high since it will only accept domains with a good reputation. Most likely the blog page is hosted on a domain that where the reputation check was not run yet.

This site picks up a red rating from WOT, and a "medium risk" from LinkExtend(FF add-on), and nothing from siteadvisor, browserdefender etc. (probably absence of interest). Red from WOT seems strange (?).
Incidentally, I've contacted the TM beta portal and beta team re concerns about
support for beta testers. They do provide an individual link to beta team for reporting bugs and issues, but no beta forum yet active. One post announcing this release on www.community.trendmicro.com/. Beta portal page seems to be in beta also??

Had problems installing it, so gave up and will get a fresh download to try
again tomorrow. The install hung just before being finished going in. then
appeared to be ok. After a reboot, it then kept giving me an error and telling
me to reboot, so it got on my nerves and I gave up on it for tonight.
I was a little bit unhappy with first stage of beta testing since TM don't seem
able to answer a few straight questions in e-mails, despite asking beta tester
only to use this mode of communication. There is a link to a non-existant beta
forum, and generally I get the impression that they just want you to follow
their instructions, and give them results of tests.

Thanks. I was debating installing it, but I just refreshed the OS on my PCs. Not sure I want to much them up with this if it is going to just cause headaches.

The 1st build was ok, so I think the problem was something my end. I had
Kaspersky on this laptop before it, and it wasn't easy to fully clear, should
probably have run their removal tool, but used Revo,Ccleaner,JV16.
Wouldn't like to speculate that it's not ok, because beta 1 was very stable,
    from what I could judge.

Very good looking interface and too good web protection. I tried to go to new links at mdl and it blocked all.

In my experience, it's not strange when it comes to WOT. http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/tmtitanium.com
