    I have always held AVs like - Kaspersky/Antivir - GData/NOD - Norton - and then the rest.

Now some say Trend Micro has something going on.

Shall I move them up the list from 6-10 to 1-3? Up amongst the best?

    Best Regards

Some new tests I read here while back show they have improved drastically.

Not the full technical answer, arguing reasons, that I hoped for - but very kind. ;)

What reputable reviews has Trend participated in recently?

How well does 2010 run on 3-5 yr. old computers? Has their support improved? In my experience they take a back seat to all of the major AV vendors.

    Ohh, my bad!

This report from NSS Labs is the only recent one I've seen with Trend Micro (detection of live malware) - http://nsslabs.com/host-malware-protection/consumer-anti-malware-q3-2009-report-download.html (requires login, but its free to create an account).

This report also includes Trend Micro 2009, but I think its well out of date (March 2009) - http://translate.googleusercontent....le.com&usg=ALkJrhio6QY7sRXobrHzTXSPkELlBqlKbA
