    Hi All
I am new here and want some info on Copying an IDE 133 ATA UDMA (mode6) to a Sata drive.10,000rpm.
I have Acronis True Image 9.0.(unused) which I will update first, and then hope to transfer one drive to the other. I hope to be using the Western Digital 10K drive as "stand alone,".
    Specs:
    Asrock K8Combo Z, AMD Athlon x64 Sempron 939 1Gbt Crucial.
XP Pro Sp2 all automatic Updates installed on the IDE in a Caddy..
Can anyone sugest the best way to do it.

I have Sata driver installed on the computer with XP & Sp2 etc: working ok.

I have the Caddy with the IDE Drive (with all my data on it ) ready to connect to the IDE on the computer & transfer to the Sata..
Is this feasable, WD sit says it can be done, but do not say how.
Both drives work ok on the board INDIVIDUALLY , and there are no incompatablity driver problems.as both drives have only been used on this M/board and no other board.

    Any help would be welcome.
    Kind Regards
    Take care
