Tracking across multiple websites using only first party cookies (blog post)

    From hxxp://blog.xot.nl/2013/10/04/tracking-across-multiple-websites-using-only-first-party-cookies/ :
From How redirectors solve the third-party cookie problem [for advertisers]:
From [Firefox] Third-party cookies should be blocked by default [2006]:
In my tests of a few websites, not allowing third-party cookies in Firefox 26.0 was 100% effective. Can anyone find a counterexample?

I have 3rd party cookies disabled plus Ghostery and Noscript. Surely that is enough.
