    This is Cicely from IObit.

Please forward this email to whom may concern. This is Top Urgent.

Your program ESET-NOD32 Antivirus 6---Version of virus signature database: 8180(20130331) reports our program IObit Malware Fighter setup file imfv2-setup.exe and IMF.exe (the main program of IObit Malware Fighter) as probably unknown NewHeur_PE. Here is the scan result for both files from VirusTotal.

~VirusTotal results removed per forum Policy~

This is absolutely a false positive. Our program is high-test, absolutely without any virus, spyware or any other threats. The new version of IObit Malware Fighter v2 is scheduled to be released recently.

Please help us solve this issue as soon as possible. You can download both files here. The password is iobit.

Please contact us at: support5@iobit.com for more information.

    We appreciate your speedy reply.

Wasn't it IObit who has stolen MBAM database for one of its programs in the past?

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't a false positive considering your not-so-clean record, and surely enough I wouldn't trust your software regardless.

You can report potential false positives to ESET as per the instructions here. Having said that, we'll draw this thread to a close.
