Hey, what about this one :):

"Bike", from the first Pink Floyd album:

    "I've got a bike,
You can ride it if you like
It's got a basket, a bell that rings
And things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things".

Probably one of my all time favorites was Harry Chapin's "A Better Place to Be" -- it definitely had a "real-people" feel to it.

How about more female input here regarding the Romantic songs:

    1. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack
    2. Everything I Do, I Do It For You - Bryan Adams
    3. Somebody - Depeche Mode
    4. Tomorrow Never Comes - Dot Allison
    5. I'll Always Be There - Roch Voisine
    6. I Love You - Sarah Maclachlan
    7. I'm Already There - Lonestar
    8. Come What May - Ewan MacGregor/Nicole Kidman

Perhaps I had better stop! There are sooo many!

    Shakespear's in love:
he's fallen he's fallen, he's on his knees before he's on his feet,a sinister romantic, for he's about to reach and she's about to see............
