I went there lookign for the spyware list, found out they took it down, went tot he homepage, and found they're freeware site listings, and list of programs, I am wondering if programs linked from Tom-cat can be trustworthy? (Like xxExplorer, EditPad Lite, and TclockEx, etc)

Hi Comp. This is the site that Tom-Cat recommended quite some time ago. I use it and yes, I think it is reliable.

    http://www.spywareguide.com/product_list_full.php

Often it is recommended and used from the Tom Cat site is Hijack This - I would say that most software recommended would be okay but it is always wise to read the privacy policies, Licensing agreements, etc. before doing a download.
