When I go to write a post or a reply in the forum it seems to time out far too quickly and then I have to log in again to make the post...it's just minutes before this happens. Any chance of adjusting it so we get a slightly longer period before this happens?

The timeout period is 15 minutes for a session. However, if you are allowing cookies for the domain wilderssecurity.com, even timing out after 15 minutes is not a problem. The credentials stored in the cookies will keep you from having to use the login box dialogs, as they automatically authenticate you to the forum on every click you make, whether those clicks are a minute later or even hours later.

If you are timing out quickly and continuously, then it is a problem with your configuration. Either your browser or perhaps some proxy / privacy filter / software firewall / cookie manager or similar software is preventing cookies from being properly maintained and passed back to the forum.

It appears you are logging in constantly, every minute or two. That is not normal and is definitely something you need to adjust on your end, as it is not a global problem. We are not all logging in every 2 minutes.

Here are some threads about this issue - which is always a cookie issue...
