    Hi –

Most of us who use, or have used comcast, ATT, @Home, ect.. cable have learned to revile the names: Tioga, TGCMD.EXE, Support.com, T-Online Update Client…Naturally I have neutralized these pests, however the name Tioga caught my eye in my registry. A Very small entry, however I know almost nothing about the registry. Is it safe to delete this? Should I know what it means? Does anyone know what it means?

    Thanks in advance,

    HandsOff

    HandsOff,

That entry IS related to Comcast. Here, on this page over halfway down....tgkill.exe/ComcastSUPPORT.

If you got rid of this....C:\PROGRAM FILES\SUPPORT.COM\BIN, or no longer use them you can probably delete that Tioga folder in the registry. Export that regfile first just to be on the safe side. Some additional comments with links here
