Does anyone know how long the tinyURL address is good for?

As long as tinyurl.com remains a going concern. However, be aware that, Wilders Security does not approve the use of tinyURL's on its website and therefore they will be Moderated back to their original addresses.

    Regards

aigle, heres the wkipedia entry: TinyURL :p
I think it is because the person clicking a tinyurl wont know what address theyre really visiting.

    Hello aldago....Welcome to Wilders,

One of the main reasons has to do with the protection for those that might click on the link. While it just one of the ABC's of net security to know what link one is clicking on...."TinyURLs are opaque, hiding the ultimate destination from a web user". For this reason and for the protection of those that visit Wilders....the Administrators of Wilders have taken this course of action....nothing more nothing less.
