I've been trying out a few firewalls lately and finally arrived at Tiny firewall pro

I'm looking for any getting started pointers - it looks brillant so far but a bit confusing o_O

You also posted in Tinysoftware forum
Have a look at following it could be a starting point.

and take one area at a time like start with Network Security until you master it, then you could continue with IDS/IPS and next with Windows Security (sandbox)

and have a look at the default firewall rules IMO default rules are not restrictive enough... especially the low priority rules where connections are allowed. Some of them could be more restrictive in order to secure the computer.

Let us know how you are doing... and be aware the learning curve is steep but once you master.. TF rules them all..

    Ciao

This is because when Kerio and Tiny were is the 2.x.x versions, they were identical firewalls. The two split because of a difference of opinion in the products. Most of the posts there are about Kerio 2.1.5 though, not the current version.
