Time to image

Hi,
I've created images for a client before and it took about 15 min. on his system. They check out OK and seem to be fine.
The problem is he reinstalled windows and all the same program's but now when we boot from the CD and try and create a image it say's 16 hours to complete the task? Thinkin this was a glitch we let it go for a couple hours and came back to check it and it said 14 hours to go?

Why all of a sudden has the backup time gone from 15 min to 16 hours?
