Just ried moving some previous backup (tib) files from one hard drive to another and suddenly started receiving error message:

"Cannot copy filename: Access is denied. Make sure file is not full or write protected and that the file is currently not in use."

Have transferred these file previously so not sure why this is occuring now -
    anyone else seeing this?

Funny thing is this is indiscriminate, one out of the 5 files was movableo_O

Run chkdsk, it should solve the problem. Keep in mind though, that tib files sometimes get corrupted during this process. The decision is yours. :D

    Hello hiptech,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure that the image file is not mounted when you try to move it to another hard drive.

Please make sure also that your image is not protected and you have all rights to move it (e.g you move it under the same account it was created).

If the problem still persists, please create Acronis Report as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please also make a screen shot of the error message.

Please create an account, then log in and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
