neil, you are spouting non-sense. Please try the trial, please create a Rescue CD, please boot from it, please try to backup and restore.

as I grabbed the wrong end of it I deserve the rather scathing rebuff. I did try it again and it wouldn't allow the creation of an image through boot media, said do it through windows. but did allow restoration option. tried restoring primary drive and it removed my 'c' drive and turned it into free space,then packed up. some test eh. still probably deserved it.
