Using 774 TI8, I created a normal boot cd. screenshots are attached. Cruising through this forum, I learned that you must turn off the firewire support in the motherboard. Unfortunately, I'm using a Laptop so I can't. I'm using Toshiba Satelite 5100.

I've tried that "no apci" thingy also. no success. I can't use safe boot cd because i need my cd-drive and external burner support.

Please tell me that you have an update to this program!!!

First image is when I disconnect all devices attached (usb mouse, usb hub etc...)

Second and third images are when I've attached devices (usb mouse, usb hub, etc...)

    Man, this sucks.

after a while, the program loads. It sees my built in cd-drive, but like 7 times. I have no network.

Not sure why you thought you needed to turn off Firewire support. I have a Dell laptop. I created the image of my primary hard drive to an external Firewire hard drive in Windows and was able to restore from it using the "Rescue" CD with Build 774.
