    Hi,

To those who have the Sil3112 Sata Raid Controller this one is working OK.

    See Raid0 Array.

When burned to DVD+RW that is also now seen. [was not before]

I have been testing it for the last seven hours.

    I Imaged Raid0 to 2HDD. [Pata]

Then deleted the Raid0 Array then wiped [00000].

Remade Raid0 then restored from 2HDD.

    Then burn Image to DVD+RW.

Then deleted the Raid0 Array then wiped [00000].

Remade Raid0 then restored from DVD+RW. [no Pata connected]

Sorry the post is a bit short but I am off to bed now, see you later.

Hope you find this of some help.

    Take Care,
    TheQuest

    Nice to know, thanks Quest.

Note that v8.0 special builds 770 and the new 772 see my Raid0 partitions from the BootCD so hopefully they can also restore successfully should the need arise.

I am awaiting a response from Acronis as to why I am only hearing of these "special" builds on these forums and not via my email support ticket that has been open for many months with regard to Si3112a :(

Nice to know YOU are getting told about this stuff - unless Anton and Co. give me some answers I will stop defending Acronis very soon :(
