    I upgraded from Build 859 (working) to 937. I left the box checked to "Create Rescue Media" and clicked "Next". My system rebooted -- hard reset / POST. I've duplicated the problem from within the installed application. I've subsequently downgraded through builds 903, 889, and back to 859. Unfortunately I've still got the problem.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

    Asus A8v MB. Athlon 3400+; 1GB Ram; XP Pro SP2.

    Hello rhfritz,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    As I have understood, your system reboots each time you try to create Bootable Rescue CD.

    If that is correct then please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    Please also do the following in order to enable mini-dumps:

    - Open Computer properties either by right clicking on My Computer icon and choosing Properties or by opening System properties in Control Panel;
    - Go to Advanced tab;
    - Press Startup and Recover Settings button;
    - Choose Small memory dump in Write debugging information box;
    - Close all the dialog windows by clicking OK buttons.

    Reproduce the system crash then and collect the mini-dumps created.

    Send all the collected files to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
