    Forum,
I've upgraded to TI 9.1 workstation build 3832 from an older build.

On both of my Dell Latitude D610 and WS470:

    1. Boot to Full/Safe verison of bootable CD
    2. Backup cannot see my CD/DVD writer, but Recovery can see.
    3. Backup can see my USB harddrive.

I remember the previous build can see my CD/DVD drive, but against all common sense, I have deleted the install of that build. DOH!!!

    Any suggestion?

Hope that support will soon as possible find a way to workaround that problem.

Go to www.acronis.com and download the version that you need. To do this you will have to have registered your product. If you have not done so previously you might find that registering now allows you to do so.

My product is registered, but I do not see older builds as downloadable.

Fortunately I am able to locate an old build 35. And I 've confirmed that the older build of TI 9.1 wrkstn does see my CD/DVD writer in backup mode, and TI 9.1 bld 3832 DOES NOT.

The irony of it is that I have spent a long time to convince my company to use TI as oppose to Symantec Livestate. Everything is going good, then I run into this problem. Just as I am about to purchase a whole bunch of licenses.

And it look likes I am not the only one whole experiencing this problem.

I am going to hold off purchasing the site license until this problem is resolved.

    Acronis Support, plz assist?

    Thank you,
downloaded the 3718 version and the bootcd sees the DVD writer just fine.

Disappointed that Acronis had not replied to my problem with 3832 version.
