Is TI 10 Home build 4940 compatable with Vista?
It would be better to use build 4,942. A restore of a Vista partition using TI 10 may also require a repair. See this thread: Fix Vista so a Repair is not needed after a restore or clone
TI 10 has worked well on my Vista computers.
I have no idea what "repair" is, even after reading that thread. I'll use TI 11 instead....presumably that will work without repair worries etc?
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.
We are sorry for delayed response.
Both Acronis True Image 10.0 Home and Acronis True Image 11 Home do support Windows Vista.
As MudCrab mentioned, in some cases after first restoring Vista partition you may need to perform a repair using Vista DVD. After a repair, all subsequent images will not require repair after restoration.
That issue has been fixed in Acronis True Image 11 Home, so no repair is required when using it.
You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image Home in the respective User's Guide.
