    Thanks, but I was asking about what's new in the Thunderbird beta, not the Firefox beta.

    That's a nightly build - a pre-release candidate for community testing purposes.
    There's no 'Beta' release just yet.

    Right. But based on this it would seem that an early December release is still a reasonable hope.
