Thunderbird 115 support ending with 115.15
    https://thunderbird.topicbox.com/gr...31/thunderbird-115-support-ending-with-115-15

    Quoting:
"As you may know, Firefox has decided to extend support of 115 only for Windows 7/8 and macOS 10.12-10.14 until March 2025.

We will not be extending support of Thunderbird 115 in the same way. It will end as normally scheduled, so the last version will be 115.15.x (there may be one more minor update after 115.15.0)."

    Emphasis by me.

Jan thanks for the info! And if there's another update, I would advise to read the Release Notes carefully before updating the software, just in case.

FYI. Thunderbird 131.0 Release Notes have posted as of today, and is not available for download yet, that I can find. The notes show the below message:

    FWIW

Despite Mozilla's general warning on the thunderbird.net page, at some point, version 131.0 appeared in their release directory.

I, and likely others, normally identify the release directory as stable when not individually characterized as a beta.

    Hello @JRViejo

I fully accept your quoted link, though I wonder if that document is in the process of change. Yet, what seems to muddy the waters is that Mozilla has also published release notes with thirty (30) v131.0 fixes and a Security Advisory with eleven (11) additional fixes. It seems like documents such as those don't ordinarily get published for beta releases.

Perhaps one Mozilla group isn't quite in lockstep with others… I was willing to update to v131.0 on a system I would not usually run a beta. Crossing my fingers.

    Thank you always, @JRViejo

Given what you posted Here, maybe, but I wouldn't count on it.

It looks like that version 115.16.0 ESR is released.

    Release Notes:

    Index of /pub/thunderbird/releases/115.16.0esr/

    from there to https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.16.0esr/win64/en-US/

    But I'll wait awhile ...

    I was wrong:
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/mfsa2024-52/
    It mentions also 115.16.0
    So I stand corrected.
