Hi, I rolled back to version 5.0 as I use anti spam. Often on new releases change logs it says security updates. Is it still safe to use old V5? everything seems to be scanned and for the life of my I cannot find any other life changing differences between either firefox or thunderbird version numbers from 5 to 7?
I use firefox 7.0.1 as browser I guess this is more important to be up to date than an email client.
Any risks using thunderbird 5? it seems to work a dream and I hate live mail.
    Thanks

    Hello,

From what I've read, no major differences between these versions, more in the line of rapid releases just like Firefox, so you should be fine. For more technical details, I'd contact Mozilla.
