ThreatFire outbound protection

    Does ThreatFire come pre-configured with outbound protection or one has to set up rules for it?

    No, it has a poor network "protection" if you allow or deny its absolute, TF is getting old as all PCTools products.

    Since it's strenght relies purely on suspicious behaviour-based detection, I personally would't consider it as a firewall. Yet is true that's getting old. I still think it's protection capabilities are quite strong when it comes to behavioural detection.

    Poor ThreatFire. :'(

    Yes it does with later versions but I think you have to enable it. It works fairly well too. In older versions, you used to have to create the rule manually but with later versions it was added but not enabled to the best of my knowing. This post here tells a little more about it
