    I looked online and It seems its just an ASUS security file for the anti virus and stuff that came pre installed. Does anyone know anything else about this?

    Creating non-Windows OS related files at the root of your system drive is something very unconventional and suspect so considering this behavior as a threat is legitimate but it could be a false-positive.
