    Hi Guys,

Windows Vista was Windows 6, Launched to the Business world officially on November 30th, 2006 & Launched to one and all on January 30th, 2007.

Now Windows 7 is already being planned for release Late 2009/2010! Mile stone 3 for Windows 7 is expected to be at Q3 2008.

In my opinion, Microsoft is rushing it! They are also saying this is the last 32bit Operating System, Since 64bit has advances!

    Alot of scary stuff!

    Your thoughts?

    3xist.

Given their track record, Microsoft is being overly optimistic with a 2009/2010 timeframe.

I've been on Vista Home Premium since June of 2007 and on Vista/SP1 since March of 2008. and on other platforms, on a 64-bit OS since before the turn of the last century.

i was hoping the next windows OS would be 64bit only to help force companies to create stable 64bit drivers. as long as windows has 32bit versions companies will concentrate more on 32bit drivers since 32bit is more widely used. with computers from 3 yeaars ago having 64bit processers 64bit OS's should soon be more main stream.
MS make sure vista works properly before making a newer OS!!!
yes vista is better than it used to be but it still not as fast as xp.
