Thorium is a chromium fork and mercury is an optimised firefox fork..

Anyone aware or using these browsers.
Also a youtube review by chris titus.

I have no intention of actually uisng any of these but there is a steady increase in hype and was seeking opinions on what appears to be a fork of a fork.

well said. anyone can try it ofc, but dont expect wonders. for some user those niche browsers are enough. but have in mind, that some settings in firefox can do magic, but not for Torbrowser which is compiled in a special way and neither nor equivalent to firefox or its forks. to admit there exist a (another) fork with nice options for tabs instead using an extension.

Just tried Thorium, seems snappier than Chrome and it supports Google sync
