Does anyone run PrevxEdge 3.0 without buying a license for it. Just use it as a notifier of malware or does Prevx CSI do that?

No I am using Prevx Edge 3 (paid). Joe (PrevxHelp) sent me a temporary license to evaluate the product. After two days of testing it I liked it so much I paid for the full version. It is very light, doesn't bug you and seems to be very effective. Joe is very active on Wilders so you have almost instant product support. I run it along side Kaspersky AV with no problems at all. Matt at Remove Malware did a review here:

Prevx CSI is the free scanner.
Prevx Edge is real time protection and has a free trial.

I'm currently running the evaluation version. Just as an extra real time along with Avira. They complement each other in so many ways :)

thank you for the clarification. I see prevx has very good support from the developers here also. I think its a very slick program and will test it out for a while. If I decide to buy, I guess its a yearly subscription?

I suppose you could run it as a malware notifier alongside a good imaging product to roll back any infections.

Yes it is yearly, but renewals are reduced by 10%.
