    Hi,

I've purchased True Image Home 2009 and trying to boot off the rescue CD I've burnt. The PC I'm booting it on is old. It's an AMD K6-2 400Mhz processor, and I get the following error when booting...

"This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU: cmov
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU."

Now I know it's an old processor, but the minimum spec appears to be a Pentium which is pretty much older still than a K6-2. Besides that, as I understand, the rescue CD is linux, and I know I can boot a modern linux distribution (2.6 kernel) on that machine with no problem.

Is there any way around this? I understand it's possible to supply kernel parameters on boot using F11, but I don't know what (if anything) can be supplied.

    Any advice?

My hardware: VIA Epia (mother int: cpu VIA 800MHz, video, lan, etc.)

I also get the following error:

"This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU: cmov
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU."

    What should I do?
    thanks.
