Yes, I saw that when I tried to get it to work. Used both HKLM and HKCU. Edge still updates, but the message blocks the underlying progress, leaving the impression nothing is happening. Another glitch is that the message is shown twice. The 2nd message should not be there.

 

Try using the command line:

I remember I had used it in Chrome 49 in Windows XP.
