Hmm ..... it's the same old story , yet again ..... factory default passwords left unchanged ... .... in this case by thousands of retailers .... or maybe millions ! And once more , it's disturbing to read , but not really that surprising. I take a great deal of care with my plastic. If I'm at an ATM , I'm looking out for skimmers , cameras in a fake plastic shell above the keypad etc. etc. There's a good article on this topic , here at krebsonsecurity In restaurants and stores , I don't let my plastic out of my sight .... .... but all of that now seems a little pointless if the merchant's terminal is completely and utterly unsecured.
