My computer's been taken over by all sorts of things. There are tons of ad pop ups and now the desktop has adware on it as well. My computer barely runs now. I can barely get it to do anything! Anytime I open Internet explorer, websites pop up w/o the option to close the window. The only way to close is to open the windows task manager, but then all internet explorer windows close so I can't get to your website! Please help! o_O

I've run ad-aware tons of times, but it doesn't seem to work - pop ups occur when I'm running the ad-aware program! I'd really appreciate any help you can offer. Here's my log:

Go to https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=14086 , and download the latest version of CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom, the creator of Hijack This.
Run it, press 'Fix', and allow it to fix all it finds.

Next, restart you computer, run Hijack This once more, repost to this forum thread, and please show us a fresh log.

There will be more to do!
