Hello all. Who knows this french firewall: TheGrenBow (http://www.thegreenbow.com/fwp.html)? I use it and it is very easy to manage. Any other opinions? Thanks
I helped in the testing . Very good firewall . As with any , it has it's shortcomings but , very good . A bit simplistic but , excellent , especially for a noob . Since you have been using it , you can see how easy it is . At the risk of being very general here , I would say you have a very nice choice . Good luck
Thank you for your reply Hollywoodpc. Yes it is simplistic but very efficient... the kind of "install and forget it". But compared with others, i noticed something new with this firewall that achieves a perfect "stealth" in every security probing test (Gibson's, PC Flank's...) without "pumping out" my pc ressources... i mean its learning capabilities to set rules determined on one's habits and behaviour. As a former happy user of SPF Pro and LookNstop, i am pleased with it and feel safe on the web. Maybe an advanced user would wish a choice in which he could define the rules by himself... not my case anyway.
