    Time to go back to landline communication via WIRE again.
    Obviously something isn't panning out with current wireless tote around phone tech

    So you're saying that Internet Explorer on desktop connected to wired hotel's LAN network is safer?

    Does that LAN cable plug into a server on the other end running a copy of Wireshark? I'd want a VPN on someone else's network every time.

    Well I don't uptight over something that won't happen since I don't stuff a portable handset with AVs or other security apps looking to line their greed with throwing fear mongering ideas this way. Now IF the service provider is so lame they don't pinch their systems going out from their end then THEY have a liability issue to contend with.

    I don't know. Probably.

    There is a lot of fishy things around VPNs, so I would rather use Firefox HTTPs-only mode. Or make my own VPN even on rented VPS is probably better.
