uff, long article, but definitely worth the time. Thanks for pointing out the font, visual contrast issue, it's so common to Distros/DEs and themes (like the Arc one) and yet no one mentions it; one of the first things I do with Xfce is using the Theme Configuration tool to turn the text as black as possible, and what a difference it makes.
