    This need that some journalist have to exaggerate in order to excite and sell a story. It only helps the distribution while dumbing down the populace.

    In addition to other precautions, perhaps it would be a good idea to assure that geolocation is disabled in any email clients that support it and assure that in your browser you have geolocation disabled for your webmail provider's servers.
