    If possible, yes. Why not anyway? Unless you have spare time in your hands.

    Well I always wonder if starting clean I might make for an even nicer, more efficient setup.

    Do I feel like my 2014 HP ZBook G2 mobile workstation still holds up? It has a modern BIOS the TPM module is upgradeable but for some reason HP elected not to offer it and unlike consumer grade laptops its upgradeable.

    About as as good as a Lenovo Thinkpad W550 of the same era and it gives my MBPs from 2012-2013 a run for the money.
