It is crazy. All it takes is an anonymous call without any proof and this does not apply just to swatting.
This could never happen in most countries, because SWAT teams are not as easy to "order" as Uber.
Yes I agree. I can't imagine police in my country breaking in and shooting someone purely on a basis of anonymous call. There should be some safeguards implemented to prevent such incidents.
